Madagascar Rose Quartz Statement Sphere A

Moody mauve-pink in natural room light, shifting to a lighter, deep pink in sunlight. The glitter is light reflecting off microscopic inclusions suspended inside the quartz, spread evenly through the whole sphere, which is hard to find. Asterism, the star effect, is typically caused by tiny needle-like inclusions (often rutile) aligned in the crystal. Hit it with a single light source and the star appears, gliding as you turn the sphere.
