Manganese in Quartz C | Druzy Specimen | Quartz with Manganese Inclusions
Manganese on Quartz is a natural quartz formation coated or included with manganese oxides, often creating dark black, reddish-brown, orange, and yellow tones. Many pieces also feature a sparkling “sugar druzy” quartz layer on the surface, formed from fine quartz crystals that give a shimmering, textured appearance.
Crystals and minerals form over long geological periods under varying pressure, temperature, and chemical conditions. Features such as internal fractures, inclusions, surface pits, growth lines, and slight asymmetry are common and often mistaken as damage. These characteristics are natural outcomes of crystal growth and structure, and are not defects but indicators of authenticity.
